A day at the Races.

Training sessions cancelled we set off to the Sound. An Easterly 5 to 6 against tide gave the best day in the races for a long time. Unfortunately I forgot to take any pictures as I was having so much fun. Not much development on the website as been walking, working and demolishing my living room. (see pictures).

Port Erin,15th April 2007.

Some promising novices make the trip from Port Erin to Fleshwick and back.

In the evening we were all in the limelight as Andy took pictures from the Triton as we circumnavigated the Calf.

Joe, Butler and myself broke away to visit the frantic water and whirlpools at Chicken Rock. (far to frantic for pictures unfortunately)

Solo Calf circumnavigation, 6th April 2007.

Anticlockwise solo circumnavigation of the Calf of Man. Sea moderate but vicious tidal races around the south west corner, allowing some surfing on the otherwise flat sea. Safe return to Port Erin.

Sunday Kayak Trip, 1st April 2007.

From Port Erin, around Chicken Rock and returning safely to Port Erin at 8pm.
